Sachi Anand Photography will be the best wedding/event photographer you will find. Sachi was my wedding photographer and was one of the people I think most fondly of about the day. The quality of photos is amazing but, more importantly, she made me feel so comfortable and so secure. I do not usually like being in photos but Sachi made me feel like I was just hanging out with friends and I felt so comfortable around her taking pictures the entire weekend. She is accommodating and attentive and fully wanted to understand our wants and needs ahead of wedding weekend. She took time out of her schedule to do a physical walkthrough of our venue which she had not photographed at before so she can prepare for the big day. "I'm not quite sure where to begin with Sachi, because quite honestly, she was nothing but the best. My husband and I had a big wedding and we wanted to have the same photographer for all the events to primarily ensure that all the photos were consistent in their style. Luckily enough, Sachi was available for all 7 events and that was the best blessing that we could have asked for. For each event, Sachi was not only on time, but so professional with our crazy family. With so many events, it can get a little crazy, frustrating and chaotic, but Sachi was calm and collected in EVERY instance. She would come early, stay late and make sure that she got every special moment on camera. Whenever our guests were taking photos of each other on their own cameras or phones, Sachi somehow magically appeared right by them to take photos of them on HER camera, as well. That was important to my husband and I because we wanted to make sure that our photos weren't of just US, but of our guests too, and Sachi took care of this x1000. She was so wonderful to work with, so easy and friendly and really made my husband and I feel comfortable in front of the camera. We haven't received our photos yet (understandably, considering how many wedding events we had!) but my husband and I couldn't be more happy that we had Sachi as our wedding photographer. We know for a fact that her gorgeous, stunning, absolutely beautiful photos are ones we'll cherish for our entire lives, and share with our family and friends. :)"

Sachi was just the absolute best by any standards. Going to dig into a few of the ways specifically below: - Working with Sachi: We spoke with a few great photographers but went with Sachi both because of friends' and other vendors' high praise, but also because in our interview, and ultimately in person, she was really engaged and suggested a ton of great ideas (places, poses, ways to get people comfortable, and ways to corral a huge Indian family), and always game for trying something, and always collaborative and receptive to ideas. Sachi is super punctual and professional, but also really fun and encouraging and very quickly put us at ease in the unusual situation of having photos taken of you :) She was so sweet, positive, and genuinely excited for us that it was easy to not feel nervous! Not to mention Sachi was super efficient both in shooting and processing photos. She was also great about monitoring the weather and figuring out what we could do when, and when we needed to move. - The photos!! When we took our engagement photos Sachi knew that the coolest photos would be of us standing and doing a dip in the street, and waited for the red lights, ran out into the street, set us up, and got the shots juuust right!! In Central Park, Sachi was super dynamic, climbing into the bushes to get cool shots of us through the greenery. The photos were unbelievable and stunning. I'd been really concerned about a skin issue and Sachi was really reassuring and somehow made us look better than we ever have in spite of it. - Timeline for sharing photos: When it came to sharing photos, Sachi was way, way faster than any of our friends' or relatives' photographers and turned around previews and then the full reel in just a couple weeks--I think 2 weeks from the shoot date for previews and 3 weeks from the shoot date (so one week later). This was also over a period when I know Sachi was shooting 20-some events over the course of 3 weeks. - At our wedding, Sachi continued to be awesome. She provided a lot of great ideas on the schedule and how to get all the family photos we wanted, and set everyone up in a friendly yet speedy and aesthetically pleasing way. She was flexible and super positive during a stressful time with other vendors, parents, et al. - Second photographer: She also had an fantastic second photographer Rishi who was also so friendly, great about getting everyone psyched up and smiling, and great and directing traffic and attention during family photos and accommodating iphone photos :) - Guest experience: So many of our guests came up to remark to us on the day of and after how much they liked our photographers--they were super accommodating and patient when friends asked for photos, always smiling, and would always check the photo came out ok before moving on. Thank you, thank you, thank you. What a pleasure for everybody to work with you and Rishi both. We will definitely be highly recommending you guys, and getting in touch with any other events in future!! Can't wait to work with you again!

50th Birthday Party
Sachi delivered all that I asked for & more! My 50th birthday was at Terrain and I wanted her to capture the rustic but elegant space. We had family that traveled to make it and we had an amazing photoshoot. She captured our group in its playful, happy and loving nature. The candids were amazing. Sachi didn't miss a beat with the surprise flash mob. She covered the event in its entirety - hugs, laughs, dancing, food, speeches - like poetry through a lens. I have become her friend and fan. We had the opportunity to work with Sachi for our maternity shoot. Sachi is very flexible and helpful. She was very easy to work with and made us feel comfortable!! We did not know where to do our shoot, but eventually ended up doing it at the beach. Even though the weather was not what we expected and hoped for, (cloudy and drizzling) the photos she captured were beautiful. She is very hardworking and got us our edited photos in less than five days of doing our photos. I had the pleasure of working with Sachi on more than one occasion, and each time she was very professional and a delight to work with. Normally, you will get a few good shots, but she has a really good eye and was able to capture a lot of really great shots. I'm having a hard time deciding which photos to display because I love so many of them. Every time that I browse through the photos I find a new favorite. I am still amazed at how many great shots that she was able to capture in such a short time. I have worked with other photographers, but she is by far my favorite.
